These are what I think of as my “classical” songs. They incorporate elements from my formal training in traditional choral, instrumental and orchestral music, and the most sophisticated musical theater. Many are sacred or spiritual in nature, and have been performed in churches. Click here to find out more and listen to snippets. A collection is available for downloadable purchase as sheet music or audio files in MOLLY’S STORE. MOLA CONOLA Songs These are what I think of as all my “other” songs. They represent a wide variety of styles (pop, folk, country, calypso, blues, rap…). They vary widely in mood as well, from humorous to tender, heartfelt to provocative. Molly Conole Musical Compositions "Viola Virtual Jam" was featured in "The Happiness Experiment," a cooperative film venture of the Orlando Film Industry Professionals, conceived by Craig Richards. Based on artwork chosen from area artists of all ages, created on the theme of "what makes me happy," 2-3 minute short films were written and creatively linked together to become "The Happiness Experiment." The film premiered on March 5th 2009 at the Orlando Art Museum, where the artwork was also on display, and will also be seen at the Florida Film Festival and other festivals. The premiere received the largest crowd the museum had experienced for a First Thursday event in over five years. Molly was asked to compose the piece for this segment directed by Dean Baker, and was thrilled to provide the music for this virtual duet for a talented teenaged performer - her daughter Amelia Dutton. Mom is also proud to report that Amelia's artistic talents were featured in the following segment of the film, which was based on her drawing, "Girl."
