CHOIR DIRECTOR

Ms. Molly leads the Choir programs on Joyful Noise! Wednesdays for kids K-12 at First Congregational Church in downtown Winter Park, FL. Founder of Rollins College, the church has a long history of dedication to quality music-making, now under the leadership of Dr. John Sinclair, Chair of the Music Department at Rollins College. Molly leads three choirs with enthusiasm and positive energy, often writing songs, anthems, hymns and whole Christmas Pageants for performance there. First Congregational’s United Church of Christ (U.C.C.) affiliation fits Molly’s inclusive and welcoming nature, which she extends to all interested choir participants, unconditionally.

KINDERMUSIK EDUCATOR

Ms. Molly is a licensed educator with the most respected, international early-childhood music education program. She teaches at the Community School of Music (CSM) at First Congregational Church in Winter Park. Her students are anywhere from newborn to 4 years old, and they give lots of hugs!

“As a parent, I enjoyed special time with my daughters in Kindermusik classes and saw great benefits to their overall educational development. When given a chance to lead and teach at CSM, I jumped at the chance! I’m a huge supporter of the program and see enormous growth for children in all areas of development through the classes. When followed through to age 7, children actually learn to read music, a skill for a lifetime of musical learning and fun!”

MUSICAL SHOW DIRECTOR

Molly has helped her students at The Walden Community School and First Congregational Church put on shows befitting their great talents. As a writer, she has tailored the shows to their ages and abilities, providing just the right ways to let each child shine. She has also spent considerable hours helping the children to learn to craft their own shows, acting as script consultant and editor. Her sense of fun and of “anything is possible if you can think it up” shines through all of these projects while she helps give the kids the practical tools to make their ideas come to life. Her own experience as a performer, singer, artist and instrumentalist give her a great background from which to aid “her” kids.
